Screen filter
Retains coarse particles at the very start of the line. Self-cleaning types prevent shutdowns on continuously operating lines.
Screen filters deliver high flow in a compact body thanks to their large filtration surface. They can filter finely even on low-quality water.
They are made in 2, 3, 4 inch and any requested diameter, over a 20–800 micron range. Backwash can be manual, hydraulically or electrically controlled, triggered automatically by differential pressure or by time.
During backwash the water to the system is not interrupted and the flow does not drop, and very little water is used. Typical applications are cooling water, well water, surface water, agricultural irrigation and seawater lines, as well as reverse osmosis pre-treatment.
