NF, RO or softening?
All three deal with hardness, but their cost structures differ. Softening brings salt consumption and regeneration waste; RO gives the lowest conductivity but demands the most energy; NF sits between the two.
The right answer depends on the raw water analysis and on the water quality the process genuinely needs. In our efficiency calculations we put these three options side by side and assess them.
