Side-stream filtration
In cooling water it is usually unnecessary to filter the full flow; filtering a portion of the circulating water continuously is enough. Which proportion to choose is determined by the basin volume and the contamination load.
Bottom-sweep collectors and filtration lines for cooling tower basins.
In a cooling tower the water evaporates and concentrates; sediment builds up at the bottom of the basin and the circulating water gradually fouls. That contamination reduces heat transfer and leads to blockage and corrosion in the equipment.
The remedy is to sweep and filter the basin water continuously. The line we built on our active project in Çiğli works on exactly this principle.

Sediment at the bottom of the basin is collected by a manifold.
The swept water is passed through the filtration line.
The cleaned water is returned to the basin.
Operating and backwash cycles are managed from the panel.
Continuous removal of sediment accumulating at the basin floor.
Reduction of efficiency losses caused by fouling.
Prevention of blockage in heat exchangers and pumps.
Making a higher number of concentration cycles possible.

Yes. Once the basin dimensions and the existing pipework have been surveyed, the manifold is manufactured accordingly.
